HPH Combat Injured Veteran Charity Enduro Race
High Performance Heroes hosted their 2nd Annual Charity Enduro Race to benefit the HPH combat injured veterans. There was a great turn out!
This Supporter Event was held at United Karting located at 7206 Ridge Road, Hanover, MD 21076
Teams of drivers donated in order to race and raise money for High Performance Heroes. It turned out to be a great event and we would like to thank everybody that came out and all who continue to support the HPH Racing Team.

HPH Combat Injured Veteran Charity Enduro Race
High Performance Heroes hosted their 1st Annual Charity Enduro Race to benefit the HPH combat injured veterans on July 27th, from 6PM to 8:30PM.
This Supporter Event was held at United Karting located at 7206 Ridge Road, Hanover, MD 21076
Teams of 6 drivers donated in order to race and raise money for High Performance Heroes. It turned out to be a great event and we would like to thank everybody that came out and all who continue to support the HPH Racing Team.

Unfortunately, 2020 is anything but a normal year for racing.
Due concerns regarding the safety of during the time of COVID-19, VRG made the decision to tentatively reschedule the Jefferson 500 and the Driver’s School in August.
As for Driver School, ever since COVID-19 reached pandemic proportions, the school instructors have been working hard to find ways to run the school while fully complying with the need for social distancing and the wearing of masks, gloves and other PPE to maintain a safe environment for both the students and instructors.
After much discussion and consideration, the conclusion is it is not possible to deliver a school that meets VRG standards, driver expectations and still meet the COVID-19 related safety requirements. VRG is canceling this years Driver’s School, but the plan is still to run the school in 2021 at the usual May Jefferson 500 date.

4th Annual Silent Auction
in Classroom #2, the entire weekend. The Silent auction will end Sunday afternoon. Both online bidding (via HPH Facebook page) and In-person bidding will be available.

2019 HPH Highlights:

High Performance Heroes traveled to Tampa, Fl to pick up the HPH #14 1962 Austin Healey Sprite from John Vann, who had the car for approximately two years.

In Tampa, we had dinner with Johnny Florez at Mission BBQ, also had the great pleasure of meeting his wife, Maria.

Accepted a donation in the form of a personal library of car themed books.

This past year we ha an opportunity to fund raise during the Jefferson 500. High Performance Heroes once again hosted the Friday night track walk, Saturday auction during the event dinner. On Saturday and Sunday HPH organized Charity Rides. We held our 3rd Annual High Performance Heroes Silent Auction. All of which were very successful, while raising awareness and donations for High Performance Heroes.
Sgt. John Vann came back to race in the Turkey Bowl at Summit Point in November. Although is was very chilly, we all had fun!
UP COMING IN 2020!
This year we are looking forward to getting Sgt. Johnny Florez through the Vintage Race Car Driver's School in May during the Jefferson 500 at Summit Point Motorsports Park. Johnny lives in Florida and had to cancel driver's school last year due to a partial leg amputation and this year will have to travel to every race up north. After completing drivers school he will be using the #425 1959 mk2 Turner to attend races. So the seat time will be split between John Vann and Johnny Florez.

2017 Turkey Bowl 11.24.2017-11.26.2017.
John Vann raced the HPH 1959 Turner and did excellent.
On Saturday 11.25.2017 HPH hosted Charity Laps during the lunch break.
