High Performance Heroes is a 501(c)(3) and our organization is based 100% on donations.

High Performance Heroes is a group of racers, race fans, and friends dedicated to helping our heroes, combat wounded veterans, work toward their motorsports goals. We have pledged our time, talents, and resources to provide entry level exposure to wheel-to-wheel vintage road racing.

In order to accomplish this goal we, along with the generous support of the motorsports industry development staff and racing fans, modify and develop vintage, small-bore racing cars to meet the specific needs of each of our drivers.

This drawing was a concept for our 1962 Austin Healey Sprite (#14).

The original intention was to use a basket-type retention device for Liam's prosthetic foot to be held in place on the break pedal.

This drawing was a concept for our 1972 MG Midget (#15).

This drawing shows the possible placement of cables on either side of the steering column connected to the paddles for acceleration and braking.
